| |
| Number of people in a pilot test group |
| |

More than 10 pilot testers will ordinarily be invited to participate since some may not complete the course. |

| Information on CPE credit to be received |
| |
CPE credit will be awarded and the completion certificate issued after NASBA’s (National State Board of Accountancy) review and approval. |
| |
| Level of experience |
| |
Many states require that courses be taken in certain subjects (accounting and auditing for example) and/or have limits on the number of non-technical hours you can take in a year or a reporting period. |
| |
Pilot tests may require participants to have a minimum level of experience in the subject matter, or have other prerequisites. These requirements will be stated in the pilot test notice. |
| |
| Time for completion of pilot test |
| |
Most pilot tests must be completed within one to three weeks of the receipt of the material. If a course cannot be completed in the stated time frame, then ordinarily no CPE credit for the course is given. The CPE certificate of completion will be issued after the close of the pilot test, when all necessary forms have been received from participants and NASBA (National State Board of Accountancy) has reviewed and approved the materials. |
